Hi! My name is Felicia and I am so happy you are considering working with me. I would love to tell you a bit about myself. I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with Full Practice Authority in Illinois. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree (B.S.N.) from Saint Xavier University in Chicago and went on to earn my Master of Science degree in Nursing (M.S.N.) with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Over the course of twenty-two years of medical practice, I have had the privilege of working in many practice areas, including psychiatric care, family practice, gynecology, surgical support, neurology, pediatric/pediatric intensive care unit/ neonatal intensive care unit, IV infusion, and high risk complex home visits. Much of my experience has been in the areas of family practice and psychiatry. However, I also have many years of experience working with adolescents and adults and enjoy working with a variety of age groups. I am qualified to practice in both primary care and psychiatry and to diagnose, treat, and prescribe medication for children, adolescents, and adults. Over the years, I have treated a wide array of issues and conditions including, but not limited to, depression, anxiety disorder, adjustment disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and bipolar disorder. I use a collaborative style in working with my clients and combine elements of traditional medicine with holistic treatment to best serve the needs of my clients.
When not working, my hobbies and interests include reading, writing, and spending time with my family. My longtime hobby has always been serving underprivileged areas through my Ministry of Love.
